Celestia Satellite Test and Simulation BV, also known as Celestia STS and C-STS, specializes in ground-based solutions for satellite simulation, testing, communication, and data processing.
Originally established in 1985 as Satellite Services B.V. (SSBV), the company was acquired by Celestia Technologies Group in 2016. Rebranded as Celestia Satellite Test and Simulation BV, we continue to serve as a center of excellence for EGSE (Electrical Ground Support Equipment) and TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking & Command) solutions.
C-STS has provided the European and international space industry with modems and electrical ground support equipment for over three decades. C-STS’ systems are used everywhere in many different location and environments ranging from Institutional Laboratories, spacecraft integration and test facilities to operational from the Galileo Ground Stations to the testing facilities for the various ESA Copernicus satellites. Having contributed to over 80% of ESA major missions, C-STS has earned an outstanding reputation in the space sector, delivering flexible and high-quality engineering and products.
Our testing equipment can be delivered with standard functionality or configured to meet specific customer requirements, and is typically used in clean room AIT environments and (optical) ground stations.
C-STS has a strong customer base, having provided numerous systems to leading companies and institutions in the space industry, including the European Space Agency (ESA), NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Airbus Defence and Space, Thales Alenia Space, OHB System, and Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd. (SSTL).
